Job summary

Firefly in Wrocław seeks a Service Engineer to perform on-site maintenance, commissioning, and education of customers on tailor-made system solutions. The role includes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and hands-on work on complex equipment.

You will travel extensively within the Central and Eastern Europe region and collaborate with area sales and project leaders. The position requires practical engineering education, broad technical skills across electricity, electronics and mechanics,

Qualifications

• At least upper secondary engineering education or several years of experience in technical service.
• Broad technical interest and knowledge in troubleshooting components in electricity, electronics and mechanics.
• Fluent Polish with basic English; ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on current systems.
• Commissioning of new systems and installations; educate customers on functionality and maintenance.
• Work independently within a team including Area Sales Managers and Technical Project Leaders; travel frequently within the CEE region.

About the position

As a Service Engineer you will be Firefly's leading-edge on-site at our customers sites. You will work with advanced tailor-made system solutions and be responsible for preventive maintanance and trouble-shooting on current systems, as well as comissioning of new systems and installations. You will also educate customers in system functionality, trouble-shooting and daily maintanance.

Your work is done independently, but you will be part of a team with Area Sales Managers and Technical Project Leaders dedicated to the CEE area. The job includes a lot of travelling within the CEE region.

About you

We think that you have:

• At least uppder secondary engineering education, or a few years expereince within technical service
• A broad technical interest and knowledge,where you master troubleshooting and the verifying of components within electricity, electronics and mechanics.
• Knowledge in IT
• Fluency in Polish, and basic knowledgeof speaking and writing English
• Ability to travel
• No contraindications for working at heights
• Drivers licence

It's an advantage if you have previous experience as a travelling Service Engineer, preferably within process industries. It's also an advantage if you have experience from various different industries.
