Job summary

Ingersoll Rand plc is seeking a Field Service Technician in Poland to perform repairs and maintenance on compressed air equipment. You will manage spare parts, handle required paperwork, and provide customers with professional service.

The role requires technical knowledge, a driving license, and willingness to travel domestically. You will work with a service coordinator to ensure tasks meet standards and timely reporting of issues.

Qualifications

• Secondary or higher technical education required.
• 2–3 years of experience servicing industrial equipment.
• Experience with compressor equipment preferred.
• English to read technical documentation and participate in training.
• Willingness to travel domestically within Poland.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and maintenance on compressed air generating devices.
• Maintain ongoing contact with customers to ensure professional service.
• Cooperate with the service coordinator to complete tasks per protocols and reports.
• Specify necessary spare parts for repairs.
• Record device verification data in technical portals and monitor related information.

Job Summary

On a daily basis, our technicians are taking care of repairs and maintenance of compressed air devices, managing spare parts that are needed to carry out repairs, paperwork related to technical tasks (filling protocols, reporting of technical problems etc.), and they are responsible for providing our customers with professional service.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out repairs and maintenance work on compressed air generating devices
• Ongoing contact with customers, ensuring their professional service.
• Cooperation with the service coordinator to carry out current tasks at an established work standard (protocols, reports, current communication of technical problems and time-consuming activities performed)
• Current specification of necessary spare parts needed to carry out repairs
• Reporting potential threats resulting from inadequate preparation of the workplace at the client's premises or other threats while performing official duties
• Entering device verification data into technical portals and ongoing control of technical information published in the above-mentioned applications

Basic Qualifications

• Secondary or higher technical education
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in servicing industrial equipment
• Experience in working with compressor equipment preferred
• Knowledge of English enabling reading technical documentation and the possibility of undergoing training in English.
• Mobility, availability for business trips

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

Travel within the assigned region of Poland and occasionally throughout Poland.

Absolute KEY skills needed for role

• Valid category B driving license
• Technical knowledge
