Job summary

Trade Nation is seeking a skilled content SEO specialist to create and optimise search-led content that converts. You will balance traditional SEO with Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO), focusing on intent, on-page structure, and risk language in line with E-E-A-T and YMYL standards.

You will oversee localisation for multiple markets, conduct keyword research, refresh content cadence, and coordinate across global sites to improve rankings, traffic and conversions while maintaining compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong SEO writing and editing with clear intent understanding.
• Ability to follow content templates and create consistent, scannable structures.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and deadline discipline.
• Comfortable with feedback loops and iteration based on performance data.
• Understanding of GEO principles and how content is surfaced by AI/LLM-driven search.
• Strong keyword research skills using SEO tools.
• Experience managing content across global websites, avoiding cannibalisation.
• Good knowledge of E-E-A-T and YMYL content requirements in regulated environments.
• Performance-led approach; able to review data to improve rankings.
• Experience with Storyblok CMS advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Write and update high-intent SEO content (commercial pages, comparison pages, FAQs, education where it supports intent).
• Write content optimised for GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation), structuring and phrasing content for AI-driven search and answer engines alongside traditional SEO.
• Maintain a refresh plan: identify decay, update content, and improve coverage gaps.
• Conduct keyword research to identify content opportunities, search intent, and coverage gaps across markets, feeding findings into the content plan.
• Grow First Time Trader volumes from generic, non-brand keywords through SEO content and expand acquisition from new audiences.
• Apply on-page best practice: headings, structure, internal linking updates, meta inputs, and content QA before publish.
• Localise content for country sites, adapting to local search intent while avoiding cannibalisation and duplication.
• Manage and coordinate content across global websites, maintaining consistency of structure, tone, and compliance.
• Write and edit content in line with E-E-A-T and YMYL principles, reflecting standards for financial content.
• Review content performance (rankings, organic traffic, engagement, conversion) and optimise accordingly.
