Job summary

Foundation Marketing is seeking a GEO Strategist to design and lead AI visibility strategies across GEO channels, including on-site content, Reddit, YouTube, LinkedIn, Earned Media, and Technical SEO. You will translate performance data into actionable strategy and partner with cross-functional teams and clients to drive measurable growth.

Responsibilities include analyzing LLM analytics, audience insights, funnel data and industry trends, mentoring junior strategists, and presenting findings

Qualifications

• 5+ years in digital or content strategy, editorial planning, SEO, or Reddit.
• Proven success developing digital marketing programs that achieve measurable business outcomes.
• Advanced analytical and reporting skills (e.g., Google Analytics, SEO tools).
• Experience managing content ecosystems and coordinating across teams.
• Exceptional ability to present and deliver consultative value to clients and stakeholders.
• Clear written and verbal communication — able to translate complex insights into clear Narratives.

Mission of this Role

The mission of the GEO Strategist is to design and lead AI Visibility strategies that drive measurable business growth through the investment into GEO channels such as on-site content, Reddit, YouTube, Linkedin, Earned Media & Technical SEO. This role combines deep analytical thinking with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly — partnering across teams and clients to turn performance data into actionable strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive, data-driven GEO strategies aligned with client objectives and performance goals
• Analyze LLM analytics, audience insights, funnel data, and industry trends to uncover strategic opportunities for GEO growth
• Lead collaborative planning sessions with SEO, Creative, and Operational teams to ensure content programs operate as cohesive systems
• Conduct recurring GEO audits, identifying growth gaps and recommending improvements
• Build scalable frameworks and documentation to standardize strategy execution across accounts
• Present strategic findings, performance outcomes, and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders with clarity and authority

Required Experience

• 5+ years in digital or content strategy, editorial planning, SEO, or Reddit
• Proven success developing digital marketing programs that achieve measurable business outcomes
• Advanced analytical and reporting skills (e.g., Profound (or SEMRushAI, Peec, Athena, etc) Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, HubSpot)
• Experience managing content ecosystems and coordinating across teams
• Exceptional ability to present and deliver consultative value to clients and stakeholders, focusing on evidence and structured recommendations
• Clear written and verbal communication — able to translate complex insights into clear, persuasive narratives

Compensation

• Base salary $70k-80k CAD depending on experience and location
• Variable compensation: team performance bonus and company-wide profit-sharing
