Job summary

CSHARK is seeking a skilled Windows audio developer to integrate audio technologies into Windows PCs, working across the audio stack from APOs to system-level drivers. You will handle real-time DSP and ML inference on-device, ensuring secure and efficient performance.

The role emphasizes hands-on work with APOs, WASAPI, WDK, and QC processes, plus experience with ONNX Runtime and DirectML in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• APOs and/or Windows audio drivers experience.
• Strong C/C++ and real-time audio DSP.
• Familiar with WASAPI and Windows audio architecture.
• Experience with Windows WDK, PortCls or ACX.
• Experience with HLK testing and WHQL certification.
• Experience with ONNX Runtime, DirectML or QNN.
• Knowledge of NPU acceleration on Windows on ARM or x86 AI PCs.
• Secure coding and ML model deployment on Windows.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Windows audio components (APOs, virtual microphones, virtual drivers).
• Work with WASAPI, WDK, PortCls/ACX and Windows audio stack.
• Implement and optimize real-time audio DSP algorithms in C/C++.
• Prepare and validate audio components via HLK testing and WHQL.
• Integrate on-device ML inference using ONNX Runtime, DirectML and QNN.
• Ensure secure, stable, efficient execution of audio components and ML models on Windows PCs.
