Job summary

CSHARK, a technology company delivering on-device AI audio and speech solutions, seeks an Android audio engineer to integrate the client’s SDK into AOSP-based OEM builds and to develop Audio HAL, AudioFlinger, and AudioPolicy.

You will work across the Android audio stack, optimize DSP performance on NPU/DSP hardware, and collaborate with OEM partners while ensuring compliance with SELinux, Treble, CTS/VTS and other Android requirements.

Qualifications

Strong understanding of Android audio architecture (Audio HAL, AudioFlinger, AudioPolicy).
Proficient in C/C++ with Java and/or Kotlin experience.
Hands-on with Qualcomm AudioReach or other DSP audio frameworks.
Experience with SELinux, Treble and CTS/VTS.

Responsibilities

Integrate the client’s audio SDK into AOSP-based OEM builds.
Develop and maintain Android platform components, including Audio HAL, AudioFlinger and AudioPolicy.
Work with DSP frameworks and optimize audio performance on NPU/DSP hardware.
Collaborate with OEM partners and support integration and troubleshooting at platform level.
Develop native components in C/C++ and framework components in Java/Kotlin.
Ensure compliance with Android requirements and project timelines.
