Job summary

Nord Security is seeking a Web Designer to help build an engaging web presence for NordVPN. The role is focused on web design (about 90% of work) with some marketing screens in our mobile apps, so strong, proven web design experience is essential.

You will collaborate with Marketing, Content Managers, the Design System team and engineers to craft visually striking, user-friendly designs that drive user acquisition and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in web design with a strong portfolio.
• Exceptional visual and interaction design skills for intuitive UX.
• Ability to align design work with business objectives and user needs.
• Collaborative mindset, comfortable pairing with analytics, content managers and developers.
• Fluent in English and able to communicate design rationales clearly.
• Willingness to adopt AI-enhanced workflows and tools.

Responsibilities

• Design web pages to boost new user engagement and seamless website experience.
• Create marketing screens for mobile applications.
• Analyze website patterns, identify architecture/design flaws and propose improvements.
• Collaborate with marketing/product teams to align with brand and business goals to drive engagement and conversions.
• Work with other UI/UX Designers, UX Researchers, and the Design System team.
• Advocate for design excellence and present design decisions to stakeholders.
