Job summary

Fun Crafters is seeking a talented VFX Artist to join our team in Kraków. You will create and integrate visual effects of varying complexities and collaborate with artists and developers across projects.

You’ll coordinate production, optimize timing and dynamics, and contribute to tool development for the VFX team. A strong portfolio of real-time effects and mobile VFX experience is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in game development, including at least 1 year creating effects for characters.
• Excellent skills in setting composition and color in visual effects.
• Strong experience in configuring dynamics and timings for effects.
• Proficiency with Unity3D engine, particularly tools for VFX.
• Experience with 3D tools such as Blender, 3Ds Max, etc., shaders, and texturing.
• Understanding of hardware limitations of mobile devices.
• Strong skills in time estimating.
• Portfolio showcasing complex and bright real-time effects.
• Experience creating VFX for mobile games.
• Skills in frame animation.

Responsibilities

• Create and integrate visual effects of varying complexity.
• Coordinate team production according to the project plan, managing task flow and ensuring timely delivery.
• Participate in the creation and upgrading of various tools for VFX Artists.
• Cooperate closely with other artists and developers on the projects.
