Fun Crafters in Kraków is seeking a Unity UI VFX Artist to bridge design and live gameplay. You will develop modular UI effects and transitions directly in Unity, ensuring both visuals and functionality are polished within the game UI.

The role requires strong collaboration with developers and UI artists, hands-on experience with Unity UI Toolkit, DOTween and shader tools, plus a solid grasp of performance optimization and live gameplay integration.

Qualifications

• Proven Unity UI experience with modular VFX and transitions.
• Experience with UI animation, Prefab workflows and optimization.
• Familiarity with Git version control and PR workflows.
• Proficiency in After Effects, Photoshop or Figma for concepting.

Responsibilities

• UI Implementation & VFX: build and maintain modular UI effects in Unity for consistent in-game interfaces.
• Functional Integrity: manage prefabs and ensure animations run correctly within the build.
• Prototyping: create high-fidelity motion concepts in After Effects for in-engine use.
• Collaborative Workflow: work with UI/UX and developers to convert mockups to interactive elements.
• Version Control Management: handle Git branches, merges, and pull requests.
• Optimization: reuse modular assets across UI systems to maintain performance.
