Job summary

EuroLUX Consulting partners with a client to recruit a dynamic leader for an established Valuation team based in Luxembourg. The role blends strategic oversight with hands-on leadership of valuation professionals responsible for a mixed portfolio of alternative investments.

You will review and challenge valuation reports, guide methodologies, drive transformation projects, and implement AI-enabled controls while creating a collaborative, high-performance environment.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in valuation, risk and/or finance functions.
• Strong expertise in valuation methodologies and practices.
• Demonstrate strong leadership with examples.
• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar.
• Very strong knowledge of the Luxembourg regulatory market.
• Practical experience of working in Luxembourg for 8+ years.
• Sound expertise of various alternative investment strategies.
• Be analytical, organized with excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrate current and previous use of technology when leading transformational projects.
• Have an analytical mindset, be intellectually curious and detail orientated.

Responsibilities

• Leading and oversight of the review of valuation for a mixed portfolio of alternative investments.
• Consider and challenge valuation reports.
• Lead technical valuation assistance, provide advice on methodologies, best practice and complex valuation aspects.
• Manage and provide leadership to a team of valuation professionals.
• Create a positive environment in which colleagues can thrive, encourage knowledge sharing and foster cohesion and a sense of ‘team’.
• O Participate and lead transformation projects, develop current market practices, improve controls, enhance the use of AI and technological solutions
• Guide colleagues within fund onboarding teams from a valuation perspective.
