Citi in Poland seeks an experienced Valuation Control Group Manager to oversee valuation controls across businesses. You will participate directly in hands‑on valuation activities while guiding a team and collaborating with Business Heads, Risk, Compliance and Finance to ensure compliant valuations and robust controls.

The role emphasizes leadership, regulatory insight, and the ability to drive change across global teams, with value placed on delivering precise valuation analysis and governance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, economics, or quantitative subject.
• 10+ years in valuation, risk, or product control.
• Strong understanding of global accounting and regulatory developments for financial instrument valuation.
• Knowledge of a broad range of financial instruments and valuation methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for all aspects of valuation control of the business, including data inputs, reporting, and analysis.
• Develop methodologies and procedures for valuation adjustments and price testing, emphasizing control design.
• Remediate regulatory matters and audit findings with clear reporting.
• Develop and maintain control framework ensuring compliance with Policies and Standards.
• Act as escalation point for discrepancies and price variance breaches.
• Identify pricing issues and critical valuation parameters across instruments.
• Lead global, cross-functional projects.
• Lead and mentor teams, partnering with Business, Risk, Compliance and Finance.
