Job summary

Anshar Studios S.A. is seeking a passionate UI/UX Designer to elevate player experience with intuitive interfaces for PC and consoles, integrated within Unreal Engine.

You will lead feature design, prototype in Figma, and craft high-fidelity UI assets while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure UI quality in gameplay and usability.

The role is hybrid with three days in the Katowice office and a salary of 7,550–13,800 PLN gross per month, or equivalent on a B2B basis.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of UI/UX experience (at least 1 year in game development; Unreal Engine preferred).
• Good understanding of gameplay loops, feedback loops and accessibility.
• Strong wireframing skills and the ability to explain design decisions.
• Proficiency in Figma, including prototyping.
• Very good Photoshop/Illustrator skills for high-fidelity UI assets.
• User-centered design with usability testing and feature ideation.
• Collaborative and passionate about gaming trends.
• Strong aesthetic sense for visually appealing and cohesive designs.
• Passion for games and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• English: B2 level; Polish: B1/B2 level.
• On-site work: Katowice office three days a week; not fully remote.

Responsibilities

• Feature Design: design new features and game systems with the player’s needs in mind; create user flows and wireframes.
• Prototyping in Figma: create interactive prototypes for PC and consoles and test with the team.
• High-Fidelity Asset Creation: prepare polished UI mockups and assets in Photoshop/Illustrator.
• Assets in Engine: prepare assets for Unreal Engine, including texture atlases.
• UMG: improve UI layouts and animations in UMG.
• Research & Testing: work with UX Research on playtests and apply results to designs.
• Design System: help maintain and update the design system.
