Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a Manager, Trade Compliance to lead day-to-day compliance operations, oversee customs brokerage and FTZ programs, and drive risk reduction across global import activities.

The role partners with Supply Chain, Sourcing, Merchandising, Finance and Legal to ensure regulatory alignment and identify efficiency opportunities. Strong leadership and CBP knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive experience in customs/compliance with leadership.
• Licensed Customs Broker preferred.
• Retail/import operations experience a plus.
• Strong knowledge of CBP regulations and FTZ rules.
• Familiarity with import/export compliance requirements.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage trade compliance operations including customs brokerage and FTZ administration.
• Ensure CBP compliance and FTZ requirements.
• Drive improvements to reduce risk and improve efficiency.
• Assess tariff impacts and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Oversee FTZ compliance and administration.
• Monitor KPIs and report to senior leadership.
• Communicate risks and remediation plans.
• Lead cross-functional compliance initiatives.
• Develop SOPs, policies, and workflows.
• Evaluate new projects and integrate into workflows.
• Lead process improvements in import compliance.
• Embed compliance into business processes and systems.
• Manage relationships with brokers and service providers.
• Negotiate SLAs and review vendor performance.
• Coordinate RFIs/RFQs with Sourcing.
• Lead and coach Trade Compliance Analysts.
