Hitachi Energy is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to join our engineering team. You will contribute to building automation test environments, debugging embedded systems, and supporting large-scale wireless networking projects.

In this role you will automate features, script network tests, and work closely with the dev team for design validation while operating in an Agile SCRUM setting. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in test automation (Python/Pytest).
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps).
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience designing and implementing test cases and test plans.
• Experience with cellular networking technologies (LTE/4G, 5G).
• Proficient English communication.
• Hands-on experience in engineering or test laboratories.

Responsibilities

• Work on new features automation and regression suite using different tools.
• Execute and script test cases for network and energy products.
• Collaborate with development team on problem characterization and early design validation.
• Participate in project planning, execution, testing and R&D activities in SCRUM.
• Test and troubleshoot LTE/4G and 5G communication systems.
• Build, configure and maintain lab test environments for networking and embedded devices.
