Hitachi Energy Services SP. Z O.O. Krakow is seeking a Senior System Test Team member to develop automated tests in Python and drive robust testing strategies for mission-critical communication systems. You will collaborate with developers, QA experts and architects to ensure high quality across functional and non-functional areas.

The role focuses on test automation, lab expansion, and creating scalable test infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on safety, integrity, and team mentorship.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in IT, Telecommunication, CS or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Python testing and test automation.
• Strong knowledge of Pytest and UI test automation (Playwright).
• Experience with Linux, Bash, Git, virtualization, containers and CI/CD.
• Network management knowledge (TCP/IP, VLANs, SNMP) is advantageous.
• English: spoken and written fluency.

Responsibilities

• Perform exploration tests and develop automated tests in Python.
• Implement functional and non-functional tests and test automation.
• Develop test procedures and frameworks and test infrastructure.
• Create efficient test strategies aligned with project goals.
• Ensure traceability of test cases to requirements and document findings.
• Mentor teammates in test methodologies within SAFe/SCRUM RD teams.
