Job summary

Hitachi Energy seeks an Integration Test Team member to explore, develop and automate Python tests for Mission Critical Communication systems. You will work in international, interdisciplinary teams to test reliable network solutions and ensure quality across platforms.

Responsibilities include creating test strategies, automating tests with Pytest and Playwright, configuring lab equipment, and collaborating with developers, product owners and QA experts. English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in IT/Telecommunication/CS/Electronics.
• 3+ years' experience in Python testing.
• Strong knowledge of Pytest and UI test automation (Playwright).
• Experience with Linux, Bash, Git, virtualization, containers, and CI/CD.
• Network management knowledge (VLANs, TCP/IP, protocols) is a plus.
• English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Perform exploration tests and develop automated tests in Python.
• Implement functional and non-functional tests.
• Develop and automate test procedures and frameworks.
• Create test strategies and test infrastructure aligned with goals.
• Configure and expand the laboratory by installing network equipment.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, product owners, domain experts and system architects.
• Ensure traceability of test cases to requirements and maintain test docs.
• Explore AI tools in QA and contribute to process improvements.
• Support adoption of QA best practices and mentor team members in test methodologies.
