Job summary

Hitachi Energy Services SP. Z O.O. is seeking an Integration Test professional to develop automated Python tests and explore exploratory testing for mission critical communication systems.

The role focuses on automation, test strategy, and collaboration with developers, QA experts, product owners, and architects while expanding lab capabilities and promoting QA best practices in SAFe/SCRUM RD teams.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in IT, Telecommunications, Computer Science or similar.
• At least 3+ years of experience in Python testing.
• Strong knowledge of Pytest and UI test automation (Playwright).
• Experience with Linux systems, Bash, Git, virtualization, containers, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Network management skills and understanding of TCP/IP or protocols are a plus.
• Experience with lab test equipment is an advantage.
• Fluent in English, able to communicate in a cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

• Perform exploration tests and develop automated tests in Python.
• Implement functional and non-functional tests and automate test procedures.
• Develop test strategies and infrastructure aligned with project goals.
• Configure and expand laboratory by installing network equipment.
• Ensure traceability of tests to requirements and maintain test docs.
• Explore AI tools in QA and promote testing process improvements.
• Mentor team members in QA practices across SAFe/SCRUM RD teams.
• Maintain a safe, responsible approach to testing and colleagues' welfare.
