Job summary

ITConnect is seeking a seasoned Test Data Specialist/Engineer to design and implement scalable test data solutions. You will work with testers, developers, and DevOps to remove bottlenecks in data provisioning, ensure GDPR-compliant masking, and support automated testing across CI/CD pipelines.

The role requires 8+ years in TDM or test automation, strong SQL/database skills, knowledge of mainframes, and experience with relational data, data masking, cloning and subsetting.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Test Data Management or Test Automation.
• Strong SQL and database knowledge.
• Knowledge of mainframe systems and set ups.
• Experience with relational databases, data extraction and transformation.
• Data masking, data cloning, data subsetting and automated test data provisioning.
• Experience in Agile teams and supporting automated, integration and E2E testing.
• Scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Java, or similar).
• Understanding of CI/CD processes and DevOps practices.
• Nice-to-Have: Tosca, Curiosity, Delphix, Informatica TDM, API testing, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, AI-assisted data creation.

Responsibilities

• Test data engineering: create and maintain reusable test data assets and automate provisioning.
• Data masking and compliance: implement masking, anonymization, and quality checks.
• Test data creation: generate synthetic data and edge-case scenarios for diverse tests.
• Provide test data to non-production environments and support parallel testing.
• Integrate test data generation into CI/CD and automation frameworks.
• Monitor data availability and quality; resolve data-related defects and issues.
• Document processes, standards, and data dependencies; maintain available test data.

Job description

We need Test Data Specialists/Engineers to execute the test data strategy, build automated solutions, support teams daily, and ensure test data is available on demand. The role will work closely with testers, developers, DevOps engineers, and business analysts to remove one of the largest bottlenecks in testing: obtaining and maintaining trustworthy test data.

• Test data engineering, create and maintain reusable test data assets, develop automated test data provisioning solutions, build self-service data delivery mechanisms
• Data masking and compliance, implement masking and anonymization routines, ensure compliance with GDPR and internal policies, validate masked data quality and usability
• Test data creation and generation, create synthetic test datasets, generate test data for edge-cases and negative tests, maintain business-realistic data combinations
• Provision test data to non-production environment, referesh, clone test dataset, support parallel testing and multiple teams
• Integrate test data generation into automation frameworks, enable CI/CD driven test data provisioning, support automated regression execution
• Monitor data availability and quality, resovle data related defects and issues
• Maintain available test data, document processess, standards and data dependencies
• 8+ years in Test Data Management or Test Automation.
• Strong SQL and database knowledge.
• Knowledge of mainframe systems and set ups
• Experience with:
