Job summary

Capgemini Poland is seeking a seasoned QA Automation Engineer to own end-to-end quality across complex enterprise products. You will design, implement, and maintain robust automation frameworks in Java using RESTAssured, Selenium or Playwright, and collaborate with Dev, QA, and Product teams across multiple streams.

You’ll lead automation initiatives, improve CI/CD pipelines, and mentor peers while integrating AI-assisted testing techniques.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of proven experience in automated software testing.
• Strong QA methodology including test planning, design, execution and regression.
• Hands-on test automation development with Java and RESTful APIs.

YOUR PROJECT

You will work in an agile environment where quality is a shared responsibility across the whole team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex products and wants to support end-to-end quality—from requirements analysis through regression and automation.

YOUR CLIENT

You will collaborate with technical and product stakeholders, providing clear quality insights and supporting decisions related to further product development. This role values partnership, initiative, and a continuous improvement mindset.

YOUR TASKS

• Develop and maintain existing test automation frameworks.
• Create regression tests and integrate them with CI/CD processes.
• Support the implementation of the “Automation First” approach.
• Cooperate with developers, analysts, Product Owners, and other teams.
• Support automation of both new features and existing products.
• Analyze test results and prepare test evidence.
• Use AI and GitHub Copilot to improve test automation efficiency.
• Mentor less experienced team members in the area of test automation.

YOUR PROFILE

• 6+ years of proven experience in automated software testing, preferably in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of QA methodology, including test planning, test design, test execution, defect management, regression testing, and continuous quality improvement.
• Good experience in test automation, including designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Hands-on experience in test automation development using Java, RESTAssured and Git
• Good hands-on experience in API testing, especially for REST and SOAP APIs, integration flows, backend services, and data distribution processes.
• Good experience in writing SQL queries and performing database testing.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly Jenkins and/or Bamboo.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in UI testing in Selenium/Playwright is nice to have.
• Excellent communication skills,
• Experience in coordination of testing activities across multiple teams,
• Knowledge of test management methods,
• Advanced English.
