Job summary

Capgemini Poland is seeking a Python developer to design and implement new software features in a hybrid work model. You will work with Azure or AWS, apply microservices and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and uphold quality through TDD and comprehensive tests.

Collaborate with the Scrum Master to ensure client needs are met and contribute to department initiatives. We value hands-on Python experience with Flask/Django/FastAPI, strong REST API design, and familiarity with SQL/NoSQL

Qualifications

• Hands-on Python development using Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
• Experience designing REST APIs and databases (SQL/NoSQL).
• Experience with microservices and cloud-based solutions (Azure preferred).
• Ability to write clean code with tests and participate in code reviews.

Your Tasks

• Design and development of new software features using Python.
• Working with Azure Cloud or AWS, microservices and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Focusing on quality standards – e.g., by using TDD, delivering good unit test coverage.
• Cooperating with the Scrum Master and the development team to assure that client’s needs are covered.
• Opportunity to take part in out-of-project activities – for e.g., supporting our recruitment processes as an interviewer, taking part in department initiatives
  

Your Profile

• Hands-on experience with Python development using any of the following frameworks: Flask, Django, FastAPI.
• Experience in designing REST API interfaces and implementing RESTful services, as well as designing databases using SQL and/or NoSQL databases, e.g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB, DynamoDB.
• Experience with microservices architecture and Cloud-based solutions (preferably Azure).
• Ability to write clean code in accordance with modern programming standards (TDD approach, code reviews, unit testing).
• Experience with a version control system, preferably Git
• Knowledge of Linux basic concepts and console commands
• Fluent English.
  

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Azure data services: Databricks, ADF, Data Lake Storage, or the AWS counterparts.
• Java experience is a big plus.
• Any frontend technology (Angular or Vue preferred).
• AI tools (Claude Code or Git Hub Copilot) usage is a big plus
• AI Agentic usage and development is big plus
