Job summary

Optiveum is seeking a Senior IT Automation Tester to join a payments-focused project. You will design, implement, and maintain automated test suites using Python and Robot Framework, and validate REST APIs, Kafka streams, and databases within a Scrum team.

This Hybrid role offers up to 120 PLN/h on a B2B contract, with about 60% office presence in Warsaw, Gdynia, Gdańsk, or Łódź. Fluent English required; ISTQB Foundation level is a plus; you will help drive quality initiatives across the project.

Qualifications

• Experience testing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong Python testing skills for automation.
• Hands-on Robot Framework automation experience.
• Database and Kafka testing experience.
• Ability to validate XML/JSON data formats.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes).
• ISTQB Foundation Level knowledge or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Scrum team to ensure quality delivery.
• Test and validate microservices in payment flows, APIs, Kafka, and databases.
• Design, plan, and execute test cases.
• Build and maintain automated test suites with Python and Robot Framework.
• Provide detailed test results and contribute to quality reporting.
• Support quality initiatives across the project.
