Job summary

OPTIVEUM sp. z o.o. seeks a Senior Test Automation Engineer (Python + Robot) to join a global financial project. You will test and automate microservices, validate APIs and data formats, and ensure quality across payment flows in a hybrid setup with 60% office presence.

The role requires strong English, ISTQB knowledge or equivalent, and hands-on experience with Jenkins, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes. You will collaborate with a Scrum team to deliver robust automation solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with RESTful API testing tools and methodologies.
• Strong programming skills in Python dedicated to test development.
• Hands-on expertise with Robot Framework automation.
• Solid experience with Database and Kafka testing.
• Proven ability to test and validate XML/JSON data formats.
• Familiarity with modern DevOps tools and containerization (Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of QA processes (manual and automated) with ISTQB Foundation Level knowledge or equivalent.
• Excellent fluent communication skills in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Work within an Agile/Scrum team with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality product.
• Test and validate microservices in complex payment flows including APIs, Kafka, and databases.
• Analyze project requirements from a testing perspective.
• Plan, design, and execute comprehensive test cases.
• Build and maintain robust automated test suites using Python and Robot Framework.
• Provide transparent test results and contribute to quality reporting.
• Participate in testing team activities and drive quality initiatives.
