Job summary

DCG Poland is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain automated tests for APIs, integrations, and data flows. You will develop robust test frameworks, create regression suites, and integrate tests with CI/CD pipelines.

The role requires 6+ years in automated testing within enterprise environments, strong Java 17+ skills, REST API testing expertise, and experience with tools like RESTAssured, JUnit 5, Allure, Jira, and Jenkins/Bamboo.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of automated software testing in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong QA methodology including test planning, design, execution, defect management, regression testing.
• Hands-on experience with designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Proficiency in Java 17+ and OOP principles.
• Experience with RESTAssured, JUnit 5, Lombok for API test automation.
• REST/SOAP API testing, backend services, and data distribution processes.
• Experience with test reporting tools such as Allure.
• SQL and database testing, including data validation.
• Experience with Kafka-based integrations and data pipelines.
• Jira and qTest for test management and defect tracking.
• Git skills including PR workflows and code reviews.
• CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and/or Bamboo.
• Agile/Scrum experience and cross-functional teamwork.
• Ability to mentor and support junior team members.
• AI-assisted testing and GitHub Copilot usage in test automation.
