HEINEKEN Kraków is seeking a Senior Technology Operations Engineer within the D&T Connected Supply Chain team. As the Senior Technology Operations Engineer, in the D&T Connected Supply Chain team, you'll be the technical anchor for our Supply Chain application portfolio across its full lifecycle. You'll liaise with Product Teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and internal D&T functions (Cloud & Hosting, Security, IAM) to keep applications stable, secure, compliant, and fit for purpose.
Hands‑on technical depth is essential. You'll work across hosting environments, databases, application servers, operating systems, SSL certificates, SSO, Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD, service accounts, and Azure configurations, coordinating incidents, changes, upgrades, migrations, and integrations.
Beyond day‑to‑day operations, you'll drive service reliability and operational excellence: reducing recurring incidents, cutting technical debt, modernising the application landscape (including SaaS and cloud transitions), and supporting sound financial governance across the portfolio.
In addition, the role contributes to the continuous improvement and standardisation of application operations by enhancing monitoring, automation, support processes, and service transparency. Through close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, the Technology Specialist helps ensure consistent service quality, efficient issue resolution, and a robust and scalable application landscape for the Supply Chain domain.
The role also supports portfolio governance activities related to application contracts, license renewals, support agreements, and operational financial management. Working closely with Procurement, Finance, Legal, Product Teams, and vendors, the Technology Specialist helps ensure services remain compliant, financially controlled, cost‑efficient, and operationally sustainable without disruption.

Your Responsibilities Would Include

• Manage and support application environments across cloud and on-premise platforms, ensuring availability, monitoring effectiveness, and operational excellence.
• Lead the coordination of deployments, upgrades, migrations, maintenance activities, and lifecycle management for applications, servers, and databases.
• Strengthen service reliability and resilience through disaster recovery preparedness, technical roadmap execution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
• support Single Sign-On integrations and Microsoft Entra ID configurations
• coordinate SSL certificate renewals and security‑related technical changes

Application Operations & Support

• be the technical SME for the team to help their projects
• investigate and resolve application, database, server, integration, network and performance issues
• ensure stable day‑to‑day operations of Supply Chain applications
• coordinate incident, problem, and change management activities
• work with vendors and internal support teams to deliver changes, restore services and prevent recurring issues
• provide technical support during critical incidents and major outages
• work closely with vendors and business stakeholders to understand operational needs and priorities
• manage user access, service accounts, security groups, and application authentication mechanisms
• ensure applications comply with HEINEKEN security and compliance standards

Continuous Improvement

• Driving opportunities to improve application cost, reliability and user experience
• Improve monitoring, automation, and operational processes

Must‑have Experience

• Proficiency in English
• 5+ years of experience in application support (tier 2 or higher), application management, platform operations, or system administration
• Experience supporting enterprise business applications in production environments
• Strong troubleshooting skills across application, database, infrastructure, and integration layers
• Experience with incident, problem, and change management processes
• Experience working with external vendors and support providers

Technical Expertise Required

• Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Entra ID
• Windows Server administration
• SQL Server administration and troubleshooting
• IIS and .NET application environments
• Single Sign-On and identity management concepts
• SSL certificates and authentication technologies
• ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms
