Job summary

Mapbox seeks an experienced Technical Program Manager III (TPM) to lead complex, high-visibility post-sales programs for automotive customers. You will own end-to-end delivery, drive alignment across product, engineering, and sales, and ensure high-quality execution with accountability.

You will travel up to 20% (with spikes to 50% during milestones) and collaborate with leadership to translate customer needs into roadmaps while maintaining a strong customer-centric focus.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience leading enterprise software implementations in a highly regulated post-sales or professional services environment.
• Automotive industry experience managing scope, SOW execution, change management, and high-impact customer escalations.
• Proven ownership of complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deployments from kickoff through production launch.
• Travel: ability to travel up to 20%, with spikes up to 50% during key milestones.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex automotive customer launches and programs; main point of contact for health, timelines, and execution.
• Interface between automotive customers and internal teams; advocate for mutual success and represent Mapbox externally.
• Define success metrics for customer programs and drive roadmap clarity.
• Align with Product and Engineering to translate customer feedback into actionable insights.
• Set and uphold a high quality bar; coordinate with support, product, and engineering to prioritize and resolve quality issues.
