Job summary

State Street is seeking a Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer for a team-driven role in Poland. The position focuses on testing to meet risk management and regulatory reporting needs, involving both manual and automated methods.

The ideal candidate has 1-3 years in SQA, strong SQL and UNIX skills, and experience with Python, Selenium, and Pandas. The role requires three days per week in-office presence and offers a broad benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ SQA experience in agile environments.
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle, Postgres) and big data platforms (Databricks, Hadoop).
• Develop automated scripts with Python, Selenium and Pandas to validate data.
• Write complex SQL queries for data scenario validation.
• Proficient in UNIX shell scripts and commands.
• Familiarity with SDLC methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, prepare, and implement test strategy and test scenarios.
• Review test cases and test results.
• Conduct testing and defects status meetings; communicate causes and fixes.
• Present functional demos for business users.
• Collaborate with Business and Development teams to resolve quality issues.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, iterations, demos, and retrospectives.
