Job summary

Bayer CropScience Limited is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect - Exchange to drive staff augmentation across multiple Exchange-related projects. You will work within the Collaboration Solutions Squad alongside Infrastructure, Security, and Identity & Access Management to design, implement, and optimize Exchange architectures (On-Premises, Hybrid, Exchange Online).

The role emphasizes strong troubleshooting, scripting with PowerShell, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Azure Active Directory (AAD), Conditional Access, and Identity Management.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Exchange (On-Premises, Hybrid, Exchange Online).
• Experience with PowerShell scripting for Exchange administration and automation.
• Understanding of hybrid architectures and cloud connectivity.
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, mail flow, certificates, and firewall concepts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and implementing Exchange Server architectures (On-Premises, Hybrid, and Exchange Online).
• Contribute to migration projects (e.g. On-Prem to Exchange Online), including planning, execution, and post-migration support.
• Participate in architecture reviews and provide input on best practices.
• Perform Exchange administration and support operational tasks related to Exchange environments.
• Automate administrative processes using PowerShell.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with the architecture team.

Senior Solutions Architect - Exchange

The primary objective of this role is staff augmentation. This is a long-term engagement with the intent to contribute across multiple projects over time. You will be fully integrated into the Collaboration Solutions Squad and will work closely with other squads such as Infrastructure, Security, and Identity & Access Management.

• Strong understanding of Azure Active Directory (AAD), Conditional Access, and Identity Management
• Strong experience with Microsoft Exchange (On-Premises, Hybrid, Exchange Online)
• Experience with PowerShell scripting for Exchange administration and automation
• Understanding of hybrid architectures and cloud connectivity
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, mail flow, certificates, and firewall concepts
• Experience with Azure networking (VNets, NSGs, VPN, ExpressRoute)
• Familiarity with security and monitoring solutions (e.g. Microsoft Defender, Log Analytics)
