Job summary

Hitachi Energy Poland is seeking a Solution Architect (Software Engineering) to drive the evolution of our software platform and set its long-term technical direction. You will work with development teams, business stakeholders, and Global IT to define designs, align decisions, and ensure scalable, maintainable applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Around 8+ years of experience in software development.
• At least 2 years of experience leading technical initiatives, projects, or cross-team efforts.
• Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and lifecycle management.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and modern application platforms.
• Experience with .NET technologies in large-scale environments.
• Experience in industrial or complex business domains.
• Experience introducing AI-assisted solutions in enterprise environments.
• Experience in international and cross-functional organizations.
• Azure or related certifications are a plus.
• Very good English skills for international collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Define solution architectures and technical approaches for new initiatives and platform enhancements.
• Collaborate with development teams, business stakeholders, and Global IT to align requirements and technical decisions.
• Create and maintain architecture documentation, technical standards, and design guidelines.
• Lead technical discussions and support teams in solving complex engineering challenges.
• Evaluate new technologies and identify opportunities to improve products, processes, and developer productivity.
• Drive innovation initiatives, including AI and modern software engineering practices.
