Job summary

Samsara is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer II / Tech Lead for the Agentic Platform. You will lead technical discussions, influence roadmap, and ship full-stack features across front-end, back-end, and mobile. This is a high-impact role in a fast-growing, public company with a flexible remote model.

You will mentor engineers and drive architecture with Go, GraphQL, TypeScript, React, and React Native, while collaborating across teams to deliver customer value.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of engineering experience.
• Track record turning customer/business challenges into technical direction.
• Strong system design judgment for complex enterprise systems.
• Experience leading delivery across multiple services/teams.
• Mentoring and clear technical decision making.
• Extensive use of AI in engineering to validate results.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discussions to identify gaps in the telematics data platform and influence roadmap.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless customer experience and sound design decisions.
• Ship full-stack features across front-end, back-end, and mobile platforms.
• Own production systems and provide operational support for the team.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and broader engineering community.
• Mentor and develop engineers to improve team performance.
