Job summary

NFQ is hiring a Senior Software Engineer & Team Lead in Cracow to manage one of HomeToGo's Consumer Product teams. You will guide engineers, shape technical direction, and collaborate with product to align roadmaps.

The role focuses on scalable, reliable marketplace software using Symfony, databases, and modern messaging systems. You will lead a diverse, international team, drive quality and delivery, and champion AI-assisted development tools.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience leading and managing high-performing engineering teams.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (PHP, JS/TS) and relevant frameworks.
• Excellent communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to drive operational excellence and keep teams focused on key initiatives.
• Familiarity with relational databases (MariaDB, PostgreSQL).
• Strong problem-solving skills to drive technical solutions.
• Experience with Agile projects, KPIs, OKRs.
• Understanding of scalable application design principles.
• Fluency in English.
