Job summary

HomeToGo in Kraków is hiring a Senior Software Engineer & Team Lead to manage one of our Consumer Product teams. You will lead engineers, shape the technical strategy, and drive key initiatives across a modern stack including Symfony, MariaDB, ElasticSearch, Snowflake, Redis, Kafka, Docker and Kubernetes.

You will collaborate with Product to define the roadmap, ensure timely delivery of features, and scale our Marketplace for millions of listings.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience leading and managing engineering teams.
• Proficient in PHP or JS/TS with relevant frameworks.
• Excellent communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience with relational databases (MariaDB, PostgreSQL).
• Strong problem solving and ability to drive technical solutions.
• Experience with agile projects, KPIs, and OKRs.
• Fluent in English.

You’ll be successful in this role if you

• Have 2+ years of experience leading and managing high-performing engineering teams
• Are proficient in at least one modern programming language (PHP, JS/TS) and experience with relevant frameworks
• Have excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, managing competing priorities
• Have ability to keep the team focused on key initiatives while maintaining operational excellence
• Are familiar with relational databases (e.g., MariaDB, PostgreSQL)
• Have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive technical solutions in a fast-paced environment
• Are proficient in working with agile projects, setting KPIs, defining and executing OKRs
• Understand the fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Are fluent in English
