Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate software to enhance the availability, scalability, efficiency, security, and latency of Google Cloud's most critical Identity services, with a focus on reliability.
• Solve complex operational and reliability challenges through software engineering and automation.
• Develop deep technical expertise in large-scale distributed systems, authentication protocols, key management, and failure domain isolation.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to, resolve, and prevent service incidents.

Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) combines software and systems engineering to build and run large-scale, massively distributed, fault-tolerant systems. SRE ensures that Google Cloud's services-both our internally critical and our externally-visible systems-have reliability, uptime appropriate to customer's needs and a fast rate of improvement.
