Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an experienced iOS developer to join our DCX mobile team in Poland. You will design and implement native apps for iOS, collaborate with UX/UI and backend teams, and continuously improve app quality and performance.

The role requires at least 5 years of iOS experience, Swift expertise, knowledge of MVVM patterns, REST APIs, and familiarity with CI/CD. Proficiency in English and German is a plus, and AI-assisted development is encouraged.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience creating native iOS apps.
• Solid knowledge of Swift and Swift SDK; Objective-C is a plus.
• Experience with MVP/MVVM, DI, reactive programming, Core Data/Realm/SQLite, REST/JSON, and library integrations.

Responsibilities

• Co-create and develop iOS apps; participate in analysis, design, implementation, testing, release, and publishing in App Store.
• Take responsibility for whole system or part of it depending on project.
• Integrate mobile apps with backend, cloud, and enterprise platforms; work with UX/UI.
• Collaborate with UX/UI to ensure optimal user experience and customer satisfaction.
• Utilize modern development tools and AI-assisted coding tools while ensuring code quality and security.

Your project

Digital Customer Experience (DCX) helps global brands as well as public organizations to understand and implement the right mix of business focused digital capabilities and innovations following "Customer-First" approach to address both organization and customer needs.

Your tasks

• Co-creation and development of mobile apps based on iOS platform being involved in various stages of software creating process (analysis of customer requirements, design, implementation, testing, release and publishing in AppStore) – level and scope of your responsibilities will depend on your experience
• Taking the responsibility for whole system or some part of it – depending on the project
• Integration mobile apps with backend, cloud, Enterprise platforms as well as low code platforms
• Close cooperation with UX and UI experts, to ensure the best possible user experience with the solution and thus customer satisfaction
• Using modern development tools and practices, including AI-assisted coding tools and coding agents where appropriate, while maintaining responsibility for code quality, security and technical decisions

Your profile

• At least 5 years of experience in creating native apps on iOS platform, previous experience in either Android or hybrid technologies will be an advantage
• Knowledge of Swift and Swift SDK (Objective-C knowledge will be an additional asset)
• Working knowledge of design and architectural patterns (MVP, MVVM), Dependency Injection, reactive programming (Combine/RxSwift), databases (Core Data, Realm, SQLite), web communication (REST, JSON), integration external libraries (SPM/CocoaPods), as well as version control system (Git, Gitflow)
• Basic knowledge in mobile DevOps and CI/CD
• Good command of English and German (B2). Interest in AI-assisted software development and a willingness to learn how coding agents can support activities such as implementation, testing, code review, documentation and technical exploration. Previous experience with these tools is welcome but not required.
