About the role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will lead the architecture and evolutionof our test automation platform and drive continuous improvement across ourSpeedship engineering ecosystem. You'll architect solutions, mentor juniorengineers, and make strategic decisions about framework design and engineeringbest practices.

What will you be doing?
- Design and architect core components of our Playwright-based test automationframework
- Lead platform engineering decisions and establish architectural best practices
- Mentor junior software engineers and conduct technical code reviews
- Develop comprehensive testing strategies for complex feature sets
- Optimize system performance, reliability, and maintainability across theplatform
- Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure and framework issues
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define testabilityrequirements
- Evaluate and implement new tools, frameworks, and engineering techniques
- Establish and maintain test data management and infrastructure strategies
- Drive documentation, knowledge sharing, and engineering standards
- Manage technical debt and refactor systems for scale and performance
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- + 3 years of experience with Java and at least 5 years total experience in the software development field
- Demonstrated ability to architect and lead technical initiatives
- Proven ability to architect and maintain large-scale software systems
- Strong software engineering fundamentals with focus on code quality andscalability
- Leadership capability without requiring formal management title
- Initiative to identify and solve problems proactively
- Passion for continuous improvement and staying current with engineeringpractices
- Collaborative approach to working across teams
- Ability to balance pragmatism with technical excellence
- Experience advocating for quality and engineering rigor within organizations
- Proficiency in Polish and English is required for this role
What will make you stand out?
Previous experience in test automation with Playwright and/or Selenium
- Core Platform: Java 21, Maven, TestNG, Extent Reports, Custom PlaywrightFramework
- Data & Search: Elastic Search, OpenSearch, Jackson JSON, SQL Databases
- AWS Services: S3, Secrets Manager, STS, RDS (IAM Auth)
- Libraries & Integrations: Lombok, LaunchDarkly, Xray, PDF Processing, ImageProcessing
