AUCTANE is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Hybrid Remote) to lead the architecture of our Playwright-based test automation platform and drive improvements across the Speedship engineering ecosystem. You will mentor junior engineers and shape framework design and best practices.
The role requires Java expertise, hands-on leadership, and strong collaboration across teams to deliver scalable software solutions in a global environment. Polish and English fluency is required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- +3 years of experience with Java and at least 5 years total software development experience
- Demonstrated ability to architect and lead technical initiatives
- Proven ability to architect and maintain large-scale software systems
- Strong fundamentals with focus on code quality and scalability
- Leadership capability without formal management title
- Initiative to identify and solve problems proactively
- Passion for continuous improvement and staying current with engineering practices
- Collaborative approach across teams
- Balance pragmatism with technical excellence
- Experience advocating for quality and engineering rigor
- Proficiency in Polish and English is required for this role

- AWS Services: S3, Secrets Manager, STS, RDS (IAM Auth)
- Libraries & Integrations: Lombok, LaunchDarkly, Xray, PDF Processing, ImageProcessing
- Annual Salary Review: We are reviewing the salaries of all our teams annually in order to evaluate an increase according to individual performance and the business results.
