The role emphasizes heavy backend work, concurrency, and integration challenges, with a focus on developer workflows and tool orchestration in a collaborative, craft-driven engineering culture.

Qualifications

• Extensive professional software development experience.
• Strong Kotlin and backend experience.
• Proven ability to design and implement asynchronous, concurrent systems.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and tool orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Design core product logic for agent-based developer workflows.
• Build deep integrations between Air product surfaces and external APIs.
• Improve end-to-end user experience for agents, including setup and failure recovery.
• Write concurrent, asynchronous code for multi-step agent interactions.
• Collaborate with distributed product and ML teams to solve complex architecture problems.
