Job summary

Aura Network, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own and advance Aura's AI Intelligence Platform. You will work mainly in Python and TypeScript on AWS, building scalable, secure infrastructure that enables AI to operate over sensitive data.

This deeply technical, hands-on role demands architectural leadership and collaboration across teams. You will lead architecture from design through production, champion security and privacy by design, and mentor engineers while delivering

Qualifications

• Experience designing and shipping large-scale distributed systems.
• End-to-end ownership from architecture to production operations.
• Strong knowledge of software design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Cloud technology judgment: serverless vs containers, relational vs NoSQL databases.
• Experience building systems handling sensitive data with privacy by design.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across teams.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly in a fast-evolving AI landscape.

Responsibilities

• Design and drive architecture for key platform components, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and alignment with business goals.
• Own complex initiatives from design and architecture through development, deployment, and iteration.
• Build the foundation that unifies Aura's data into a trusted, high-quality source for generating intelligence.
• Architect how AI agents access and reason over sensitive data with least-privilege access and strong isolation.
• Build systems that turn intelligence into personalized insights and actions for customers.
• Make high-leverage technology choices balancing scalability, cost, and operational simplicity.
• Champion security, privacy, observability, testing, and reliability best practices across the platform.
• Mentor engineers on design challenges, performance tuning, and system reliability.
