Job summary

Aura is on a mission to create a safer internet. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own features end-to-end from design to production.

You will develop secure, well-tested features across React Native and web technologies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to AI-first development and internal tooling. Strong experience in React/React Native, TypeScript, GraphQL, and NodeJS is required, with a security-minded approach and a product-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• 1+ year of React Native experience.
• Production experience with React, Redux, and TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and SCSS.
• Experience with GraphQL APIs and typed frontend/backend contracts.
• Good understanding of NodeJS/NPM preferred.
• Strong debugging across frontend, API, backend, logs and data flows.
• Ability to reason about customer impact and rollout risk.
• Proficiency with AI coding assistants and prompt engineering.

Responsibilities

• Improve the product experience by delivering high-quality features.
• Develop secure, well-tested features across React Native, React, GraphQL, and backend/service integrations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, backend, mobile/desktop, cloud, and release/UAT partners.
• Own features end-to-end from requirements to production verification.
• Debug across frontend, API, backend, logs, and event flows.
