Jit Team is seeking a Backend Developer to contribute to the Automated Security Retest Engine in a hybrid model from Poland. You will work on Python-based processing and a Java Spring Boot backend within an international banking-like environment.

You will collaborate with security experts and product stakeholders to design scalable, secure software, implement tests, and integrate AI-driven workflows. English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Min. 5 years of professional experience in Python and/or Java development.
• Experience developing and maintaining backend applications.
• Experience creating and consuming REST APIs.
• For Java development: hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
• For Python development: experience building modular applications and maintainable codebases.
• Understanding of software engineering best practices.
• Experience with automated testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and English proficiency.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and maintain features within the Automated Security Retest Engine.
• Develop and enhance Python-based processing pipelines.
• Build and maintain backend services and REST APIs.
• Contribute to the Java Spring Boot web application.
• Integrate external tools, APIs, and AI/LLM-based services.
• Improve reliability, accuracy, and quality of generated security tests and analysis.
• Write automated unit and integration tests.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects.
• Maintain technical documentation and development standards.
• Collaborate with security experts and product stakeholders to transform requirements into practical solutions.
• Ensure the platform adheres to application security requirements and best practices.
• Protect sensitive data, credentials, and security-related information.
