Job summary

b2bnetwork in Warsaw, Poland is seeking a software developer to contribute to the Automated Security Retest Engine, a platform that automates analysis of security assessment reports and remediation verification.

You will build and maintain Python and Java backend applications, REST APIs, and a Spring Boot web UI, design features, integrate external tools and APIs, write automated tests, troubleshoot defects, and document work for repeatable retests with strong security practices.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python or Java and modern backend development practices.
• Experience with RESTful API design and backend services.
• Familiarity with Spring Boot and standard dev practices.
• Experience writing automated tests and using Git workflows.
• Understanding of secure software development, including input validation and auth.
• Ability to read and communicate in technical English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python and/or Java backend services.
• Work on a Java Spring Boot web UI and REST APIs integration.
• Design and implement new features, improve reliability and testability.
• Collaborate with security and product teams to translate requirements into code.
• Write automated tests and maintain documentation for retests.
• Investigate defects and provide secure, well-documented changes.
