Jit is seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer to lead the development and maintenance of modern backend applications based on Java and microservices. The role involves designing scalable solutions, building REST APIs, working with relational databases, and supporting automated deployment processes.

You will collaborate with teams in an international environment and use cutting-edge engineering practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong knowledge of REST API design and microservices architecture.
• Relational databases and SQL proficiency.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment.
• Hands-on experience with Docker for packaging and deploying apps.
• Interest in Agentic AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) to accelerate engineering workflows.
• Excellent English communication, both written and spoken.
