Awin is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own features end to end for Publisher Web, spanning Angular UI, API design, Java backend services, and AWS infrastructure. You will work in an agile team, collaborating with Product and UX across locations, and you will apply AI tools to enhance coding, testing and documentation.

The role emphasizes architecture, performance, security and accessibility, with a commitment to mentoring other engineers and driving platform migration to the new system.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial software engineering experience, delivering full-stack features end to end.
• Strong experience with Angular (or similar) and TypeScript.
• Strong experience with Java (Spring Boot or similar).
• Solid API design skills: RESTful APIs, contract-first design, versioning, error handling, authentication and authorisation.
• Hands-on experience with AWS (ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB/RDS, S3/CloudFront) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• AI-native way of working: use of AI agents and ability to critique outputs.

Responsabilités

• Build and evolve publisher web applications in Angular on a micro-frontend architecture.
• Design clear, consistent and well-documented APIs for web and mobile clients.
• Build, maintain and operate Java backend services.
• Own the infrastructure your services run on in AWS, with IaC and CI/CD pipelines.
• Migrate legacy publisher functionality to the new platform and decommission unused components.
• Leverage AI agents across the delivery lifecycle and share reusable AI patterns.
• Collaborate with Product and UX to shape solutions and justify scope.
• Maintain code quality through reviews, tests, security, and performance.
• Troubleshoot production issues promptly.
• Mentor other engineers and share knowledge.
