Job summary

Altium is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive product development for complex cloud applications as part of the Altium 365 R&D team.

You will work with .NET Core, AWS, microservices, and multi-tenant architectures, focusing on scalable, high-load systems and collaborative, knowledge-sharing culture.

Qualifications

• Experience with .NET Core and legacy .NET Framework in cloud or microservices contexts.
• Hands-on with microservices architectures and scalable cloud applications.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and common tooling (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of SQL databases (MySQL preferred; Firebird/Oracle a plus).

Responsibilities

• Develop complex cloud applications for Altium 365 within a hybrid R&D team.
• Work with a tech stack including .NET Core, AWS, multi-tenant architecture, and distributed systems.
• Collaborate and share knowledge to grow team expertise.

A day in the life of our Senior Software Engineer:

As a Senior Software Engineer, your primary role will be product development for complex cloud applications with the Altium 365 R&D team.

• Work with a tech stack of .NET Core, AWS, multi-tenant architecture, and distributed high-load systems.
• Handle tech challenges different from most others on the market, a mixture of complex engineering software, microelectronics and cloud services
• Add to the team’s expertise through collaboration and sharing knowledge

The working mode is hybrid: 3 days a week from one of our offices (Katowice or Wroclaw).

Required technology experience:

• .NET Core, .NET Framework.
• Microservices.
• CI, CD, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes.
• MySQL (FireBird, Oracle as a plus).

Will be a plus:

• AWS, EC2, ECS, RDS, etc. - or Azure/GCP
• Multi-tenant architecture
• Sentry, New Relic for alerts and monitoring
