Job summary

Luxoft Poland is seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines across AWS, Azure and GCP. The role focuses on Snowflake mastery, RBAC, and secure data governance to support AI and analytics initiatives.

The candidate will work with DBT, Python, and ETL/ELT tools, delivering robust data models and efficient SQL transformations. Collaboration with data analysts and architects is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering and Snowflake development.
• Strong proficiency with Snowflake, Snowpipe, RBAC and performance tuning.
• Ability to write complex SQL queries, stored procedures and UDFs.
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools including Snowpipe, AWS Glue, Fivetran or similar.
• Proficiency in transforming data with SQL; Python is a plus.
• Knowledge of data modeling (OLTP/OLAP/Data Vault 2.0) and governance.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and optimize scalable data pipelines on AWS, Azure and GCP.
• Develop and optimize Snowflake data models, schemas and transformations.
• Implement data governance, RBAC, security and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with analysts, architects and business teams on requirements.
• Ensure data quality and monitor/ troubleshoot pipelines.
• Contribute to CI/CD practices and code reviews for data solutions.
