Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a skilled Snowflake Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will implement RBAC, data governance, and complex SQL transformations, collaborating with analysts and business teams to deliver reliable data solutions.

The role requires strong Snowflake expertise, experience with ETL/ELT tools, and proficiency in DBT and Python. Terraform and version control with Azure DevOps are valued for infrastructure-as-code and

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in data engineering or related field.
Strong Snowflake expertise including RBAC and performance tuning.
Proficient in writing complex SQL and stored procedures.
Experience with ETL/ELT tools and Python for data processing.

Responsibilities

In-depth knowledge of Snowflake's data warehousing capabilities.
Understand Snowflake's virtual warehouse architecture and optimize performance and cost.
Proficiency in using Snowflake's data sharing and integration features for collaboration.
Develop and optimize complex SQL scripts, stored procedures, and data transformations.
Work with data analysts, architects, and business teams to deliver reliable data solutions.
Implement and maintain data models, dimensional modeling for data warehousing, data marts, and schemas to support reporting.
Integrate data from various sources including APIs, flat files, relational databases, and cloud services.
Ensure data quality, data governance, and compliance standards are met.
Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues, errors, and pipeline failures.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment of data solutions.
