Job summary

Akamai is seeking a Senior II Software Development Engineer in Test to join our QA-focused team in Krakow and collaborate with global stakeholders. You will develop automation frameworks using Java/TypeScript/Python, own end-to-end testing, and contribute to AI innovation while supporting engineers and product teams to enhance the Core platform capabilities.

You will work with Playwright or Cypress, TestNG/JUnit, and have a strong understanding of web protocols and APIs.

Qualifications

• Experience coding in TypeScript, Java or Python.
• Experience with automation testing frameworks (Playwright/Cypress) and API testing.
• Good understanding of networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SSL).

Responsibilities

• Develop automation code to build test frameworks and automate testing infrastructures.
• Oversee release scope and own end-to-end testing.
• Introduce innovations from the marketplace and contribute to AI innovations.
• Collaborate with Krakow, US and global teams on quality initiatives.
