Job summary

Akamai Technologies GmbH is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test to join a remote Poland team. You will collaborate across Scrum teams to plan and execute comprehensive test strategies for large-scale systems, both manual and automated, leveraging PyTest within CI/CD pipelines.

You will design tests, build tools, and apply AI-driven approaches to boost productivity, with strong emphasis on Python, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP/Azure and BigData backend testing.

Qualifications

• Have a solid QA testing experience.
• Advanced knowledge of scripting languages including Python, shell script, SQL, and REST API.
• Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, ArgoWF, ArgoCD, Clickhouse, S3, Kafka, Terraform, Kibana, and Grafana.
• Experience in testing of BigData Backend Distributed systems.
• Experience with Cloud Platforms AWS, GCP, Azure.
• Experience with AI tools such as Clude-code, Co-Pilot.
• Good understanding of networking protocols and technologies (HTTP, HTTPS, DNS).

Responsibilities

• Executing the complete QA process: collecting specifications, creating test plans, automating tests with PyTest, and integrating into CICD pipelines.
• Creating and applying new approaches and concepts, including AI, to improve the productivity and efficiency of testing practices.
• Designing testing tools, which include developing scripts to enhance regression testing.
