Incept Data Solutions, Inc. in Warsaw, Poland, is seeking a Senior SAP Ariba Application Engineer for a hybrid, full-time role. You will own the Ariba platform across Sourcing, Contracts, SLP, Buying, and Invoicing, providing advanced configuration, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.

You will lead incident reviews, work with SAP and vendors, mentor L2 engineers, and help shape how Procurement, Finance, and AP teams utilize the platform in a global environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on with SAP Ariba in upstream and downstream modules.
• Solid ITSM knowledge: incident, change, and problem management.
• Experience with APIs, middleware, and integration frameworks.
• Working knowledge of Agile/DevOps and secure development practices.
• Excellent communication skills to be the calm, credible voice when something's on fire.

Responsibilities

Hybrid: 3 days/week in the Warsaw office, 2 remote.

About the role

Our client, a fast-growing global biopharmaceutical company, is scaling its Source-to-Pay platform and needs a senior Ariba engineer to be the technical backbone of it — owning support, configuration, and continuous improvement across the full Ariba suite (Sourcing, Contracts, SLP, Buying, Invoicing), and acting as the escalation point when things get hard.

This isn't a ticket-queue role. You'll do deep root-cause work, lead post-incident reviews, shape how Procurement, Finance, and AP teams actually use the platform, and mentor the engineers below you. You'll work directly with SAP, internal technical teams, and outside vendors to keep a complex, global system running clean.

What you'll own

• Advanced troubleshooting and permanent fixes across Ariba's upstream and downstream modules
• Configuration and optimization tied to real business needs, not just tickets
• Incident, problem, and change management, with documentation that actually gets used
• Integration performance across CIG, APIs, and middleware — plus the S/4HANA handoffs
• Release testing, regression checks, and change impact assessment
• Mentorship for L2 support engineers as the support model matures

What you bring
