About the role

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled SAP ABAP Developer to provide productive support, maintain existing SAP solutions, and develop new functionalities across various SAP modules. In this role, you will be responsible for resolving production issues, implementing enhancements, optimizing existing code, and delivering technical solutions based on business requirements. You will work primarily with SAP HCM, HCM Performance Management (HCM PM), Master Data, SAP BW, Authorizations, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), while collaborating with functional teams to ensure the stability and continuous improvement of SAP systems. The ideal candidate has extensive hands‑on experience in ABAP development, strong expertise in SAP HCM and HR‑related processes, and a proven track record in production support, custom development, system enhancements, reports, interfaces, workflows, and forms. Experience with SAP ERP and ECC environments, as well as the ability to analyze complex technical issues and deliver efficient, reliable solutions, is essential.

Requirements

• Experience: Extensive SAP ABAP development experience, with a strong background in production support and the implementation of new functionalities.
• SAP Modules: Practical experience with SAP HCM, HCM PM, Master Data, BW, Authorizations, and SAC.
• ABAP Development: Strong expertise in reports, enhancements, forms, workflows, interfaces, and data conversions.
• SAP HCM: Experience with HR‑related processes, including Organizational Management (OM), Personnel Administration (PA), Payroll (PY), Time Management (TM), and Performance Management (PM).
• Production Support: Proven ability to troubleshoot issues, resolve bugs, optimize existing code, and maintain business‑critical SAP applications.
• Technical Skills: Experience with Web Dynpro, SAP Business Workflow, Smart Forms, SAPscript, PDF forms, XML, XSLT, and MS Office integration.
• Data Management: Knowledge of Master Data migration and upload tools, including LSMW.
• SAP Environments: Experience working with SAP ERP/ECC systems and different enhancement package versions.
• Communication: Ability to collaborate with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver effective solutions.
• Languages: English proficiency at an intermediate level; Russian is the candidate's native language.

Responsibilities

• Provide productive support for SAP applications, particularly across HCM, HCM PM, Master Data, BW, Authorizations, and other relevant SAP modules.
• Analyze and resolve production issues, investigate defects, perform bug fixes, and optimize existing ABAP code to ensure system stability and performance.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain custom SAP functionalities, including reports, interfaces, workflows, forms, and user exits or BAdIs.
• Implement technical changes and new functionalities in SAP HCM and HCM Performance Management, supporting HR business processes and appraisal‑related solutions.
• Develop and maintain SAP reports and interfaces, ensuring accurate data processing and reliable integration between systems.
• Support Master Data management activities, including data migration, data uploads, and conversion processes using tools such as LSMW.
• Develop and maintain SAP forms and document‑generation solutions using Smart Forms, SAPscript, PDF‑based forms, XML, and XSLT.
• Work with SAP Web Dynpro applications and integrate MS Office documents and forms into SAP solutions where required.
• Support SAP system upgrades, implementations, enhancements, and cross‑module projects, collaborating with functional and technical teams.
• Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of SAP technical solutions, ensuring code quality, performance, and alignment with business requirements.
• Provide technical guidance, consultations, and knowledge sharing to team members, drawing on extensive SAP development and support experience.
