Job summary

HR New Media GmbH is seeking a Senior SAP Developer to design and implement ABAP solutions in a modern S/4HANA environment, following Clean Core principles. You will collaborate with functional consultants and architects to harmonize SAP landscapes and deliver standard-oriented solutions.

Your role requires deep hands-on SAP PM, MM, and Basis in S/4HANA, plus strong documentation and data migration involvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on SAP PM in S/4HANA with configuration expertise.
• 5+ years SAP MM in S/4HANA including implementation and customizing.
• 5+ years ABAP development for S/4HANA environments.
• Strong knowledge of SAP standard processes and Clean Core architecture.
• German language skills at least B2.
• English language skills at least B2.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement SAP solutions within PM, MM, QM, and SD environments.
• Perform ABAP development in accordance with Clean Core principles.
• Create technical documentation and development specifications.

Your Role:

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP Developer with strong expertise in ABAP development and SAP S/4HANA, as well as solid functional knowledge of PM, MM, QM, and SD modules.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing solutions in a modern S/4HANA environment, following Clean Core principles and supporting the harmonization of complex SAP landscapes. You will work closely with functional consultants, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and standard-oriented SAP solutions.

You will:

• Develop and implement SAP solutions within PM, MM, QM, and SD environments
• Perform ABAP development in accordance with Clean Core principles
• Create technical documentation and development specifications
• Analyze, test, troubleshoot, and debug SAP applications
• Support the transition of custom developments towards SAP standard processes
• Collaborate with functional teams during design and implementation phases
• Participate in data migration planning and execution activities
• Ensure solution quality, performance, and maintainability
• Support integration and harmonization activities across SAP systems
• Contribute to continuous improvement and best-practice implementation

Your Profile:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP PM in S/4HANA, including configuration and process expertise
• 5+ years of experience with SAP MM in S/4HANA, including implementation and customizing
• 5+ years of experience with SAP Basis concepts in S/4HANA, including organizational structures and customizing
• 5+ years of experience in ABAP development for S/4HANA environments
• Strong understanding of SAP standard processes and Clean Core architecture
• Experience with testing, debugging, and technical troubleshooting
• An overview of AI tools and trends
• German language skills at B2 level or higher
• English language skills at B2 level or higher

Nice to Have:

• Experience with SAP QM and SAP SD in S/4HANA environments
• Knowledge of SAP integration technologies such as RFC, IDoc, OData, and REST APIs
• Experience in SAP landscape consolidation and harmonization projects
• Experience supporting large-scale SAP transformation initiatives
