Job summary

SOFTSWISS is seeking a Senior Ruby Developer in Warsaw to design and build scalable Ruby services for data-intensive, high-load systems. You will own end-to-end delivery from implementation to production, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize both application and database performance in a fast-paced, agile environment.

You will collaborate with product, infrastructure and business teams and explore new technologies to improve reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in software development.
• Solid Ruby programming skills.
• Hands-on experience with data-intensive applications and performance tuning.
• Experience building complex solutions from scratch.
• Strong SQL skills and relational DB understanding.
• Deep data structures, OOP and algorithms knowledge.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and improve scalable Ruby services for high-load systems.
